Niamh Briggs

Niamh Briggs is an Irish rugby player who plays as fullback for the Ireland women’s national rugby union team.
Briggs was born in 1984. She attended Waterford Institute of Technology and works for the Garda Síochána. She has played for Dungarvan R.F.C., Clonmel R.F.C., UL Bohemians R.F.C. and the Ireland women’s national rugby union team.

Briggs was credited with the winning points that brought a Grand Slam win for Ireland on St Patrick’s Day in Milan in March 2013.
