Captain of the 1975 All-Ireland Winning Kerry Football Team
Mickey Ned O’Sullivan lives in Kenmare, Co. Kerry. He is a guidance counsellor by profession at Colaiste Ghobnatan, Ballyvourney, co. Cork. Mickey Ned holds an Honours Degree in Physical Education from University of London, Diploma in Educational Management from Trinity College, Dublin and Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from UCD.
Mickey Ned was a member of the Kerry Gaelic Football from 1971 to 1980 captaining them to Senior All Ireland victory in 1975. He later went on to manage Kerry at minor, u21 and senior level successfully. Mickey Ned also managed the Limerick senior football team.
