The National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD) the representative body for Ireland’s 700 post-primary school leaders, met virtually once again for their annual conference on the 21st and 22nd October. In previous years the Foundation have been fortunate to have a presence at their annual conference to meet attendees, share the story of the foundation and the message of the Irish flag and to register schools in-person for flag day in March.

This year that was not possible, and so we were absolutely thrilled when Mr. Clive Byrne, former director of the NAPD and also an honorary board member of the Foundation recorded this video which featured over the two days of the conference. You can view the video here on Twitter) to watch Clive talking about the Foundation and why second-level schools should get involved this year with Flag Day 2022.
