The 2023 Awards & Scholarship Presentation Luncheon took place in Leinster House on 20th November hosted by Honorary Board Member and Co-Founder of the Foundation Senator Mark Daly, Cathaoirleach of the Seanad of Ireland.
Flag Day Ambassadors and members of the Honorary Board such as Leitrim Hurler Zak Moradi and Chair of the Foundation Clive Byrne presented the overall winners with certificates, having received their prizes earlier in the year. It was a truly special occasion for our inspiring young people.
The Awards & Scholarship Programme has been running since 2016 as part of the Foundation’s annual Flag Day School’s Programme. Each year students from registered secondary schools are encouraged to enter and be in with a chance to win an Award or the Overall Top prize of a Scholarship.
